Student Leadership

At Macleod College, our student leadership roles are dedicated to fostering confident, responsible, and respectful leaders. Our student leaders represent the college at both internal and external events. They engage with peers, staff, and the wider community through a variety of activities and initiatives. The students develop leadership skills by actively managing events organised with their teams. Additionally, leaders have the chance to attend various Leadership Conferences, where they can collaborate, exchange ideas, and connect with other aspiring leaders.

Student Leaders are selected via an interview process, comprising of a panel made up of Students, current Student Leadership Leader and a member of the Principal Team. The selection focuses on how the applicant has demonstrated skills, experience or actions suitable for the position, and the goals for their term in leadership.
