IT
Macleod College integrates Information Technology (IT) into its curriculum to embed the essential digital skills for students to thrive in a technology-driven world. This integration aligns with the college’s mission to support every student in realising their full potential, equipping them with the knowledge and values necessary to lead productive lives and contribute meaningfully to society.
The College’s Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) program allows students to purchase the device of their choice. This approach offers several benefits:
Enhanced Comfort and Productivity: Students are more comfortable using their personal devices and become expert at using them, making them more productive
Flexibility and Continuity: Allowing students to work on their own devices both on and off-campus enables them to be more flexible around where and when they decide to complete their studies
By embracing IT and the BYOD program, Macleod College ensures that its students are well-prepared to navigate and contribute to an increasingly digital society.
BYOD program
Bring your own device. BYOD, is a technology trend in the education and corporate environments worldwide. Students are more comfortable using their personal device and become expert at using it, making them more productive. Our program is designed to give students and families the freedom to make technology choices that suit them and all their circumstances. The network and Internet are filtered, providing a safe environment for students. All students from Years 5 - 10 are required to bring their own device (BYOD).
