Location & Transport

Macleod College is situated in the well-established suburb of Macleod, just 14 km north of the city of Melbourne. The college is situated 900m from the Greensborough Highway and 3.5km from Plenty Road and although it is conveniently close to these major thoroughfares, the college has the charm of a neighbourhood school as it is tucked away in the heart of the suburb.

We are fortunate to be just a across the road from the Macleod railway station and adjacent to the local park and shopping precinct, enabling the school to form close ties with the local community.

By Train

Macleod College is easily accessible by train. Macleod railway station is a premium station with full facilities and is located only 400m from the school.

By Bus

Bus route 561 runs from Coburg to Macleod station via La Trobe University and Reservoir.

By car/ on foot

Access to the school from the Greensborough Highway is via Strathallan Road or Erskine Road. From west of the railway line, use Kingsbury Drive/Ruthven Street. Melways reference: 20 B7.
