Macleod College offers a comprehensive and engaging sports program for its students, allowing them to develop skills, teamwork, and fair play. The weekly sport and PE programs, along with the opportunity to participate in interschool competitions, provide students with a well-rounded fitness experience. Year 7 students are involved in an organised once a week sport program as well as their PE program.
With the range of sports offered across all four terms, students can explore different interests, from traditional team sports like AFL, Badminton, Baseball, Basketball, Cricket, Futsal, Netball, Soccer, Softball, Table Tennis, Tennis, Volleyball to individual challenges like Cross Country, Athletics or Swimming.
Our school has a rich history of providing students with lots of opportunities to participate in a range of interschool sports at every year level with particular success in competing at the Northern Metropolitan Region level. Recent success include both boys and girls in Softball (Year 7 girls 2024 State Winners), Volleyball, Badminton, Table Tennis and Netball.
