Middle School
Our Middle Years program is designed to support students as they transition into high school, develop a strong sense of self, and build lasting connections with their peers, teachers, and the wider community.
The Middle Years Leader works closely with our dedicated student managers to ensure every student in Years 7–9 is supported both academically and personally. Students have access to the Reset Room in the Middle School office whenever they need a quiet space to take a break, refocus, and re-engage with their learning.
Throughout Years 7–9, all students participate annually in the Big Sister and ManCave experiences, which focus on personal growth, respectful relationships, and emotional wellbeing. We also offer a range of additional programs that are tailored each year to meet the needs of our students. These have included Brainstorm Productions, Banyule Youth Wellbeing & Self Care sessions, and targeted Health Education programs.
At Macleod College, the Middle Years are a time for students to explore their interests, develop resilience, and strengthen their connections within our school community—laying the foundation for success in their senior years and beyond.
