German Camps

Year 10 German students head for the hills to Camp Gundiwindi in Seville every July.

They spend three days discussing modern German politics, eating German food (including Schwarzwalderkirschtorte!), singing, dancing, watching films, and playing Trivial Pursuit; all in German!

This provides the students with an authentic environment in which they immerse themselves in the language. All students are invariably amazed at the improvement in their German after three days of intensive oral work.
