Impact Centre

At its heart the IMPACT Project has the desire to model and promote innovation in teaching and learning.

The major focus of the Impact Centre to improveme student learning - in particular literacy, numeracy and connectedness with schooling.

Two major learning priorities are involved. Firstly the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT).

Students use these technologies for visual thinking, for creating and for communicating and presenting their learning outcomes.

Secondly a curriculum design that guides and leads students into deep investigations and learning opportunities beginning with the personal and culminating with global issues.

The IMPACT Centre is viewed as a place of learning by all those who use the facilities; from students, teachers, parents to the broader community.

We seize opportunities to develop strategic relationships both within and outside the college that enhance our learning.
