- International students are looked after by the International Student Coordinator.
- The coordinator arranges for airport pick up, usually by the coordinator or another teacher from the school.
- The coordinator organizes homestay accommodation and makes sure that the students are happy and well cared for.
- At school the coordinator shows the students around and explains school rules etc.
- Students are matched up with a buddy, usually a local student, who looks after the student for the first few weeks and helps international students make friends.
- The coordinator meets with the students every week to make sure everything is going well and to help the students settle in to the school and understand the local culture.
- The careers teacher works with the coordinator to help international students choose subjects and make applications for university and other courses.
