SRC

Macleod College has an awesome SRC with a strong tradition of community involvement and commitment to the students since 1999.

The SRC is made up of four students from each year level from Year 4 through to Year 12. They all meet together regularly and meeting s are led by the student executive.

Students have areas of responsibility and work outside meeting times to further their causes such as publicity, surveys, photography, promotion of activities.

Some events the SRC regularly organises are

• Regular fundraising out uniform days
• Support for camps and community activities
• Packages for a Plan sponsor child
• Jeans for Genes Day
• Anti Cancer Council Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea
• Contributions to Connect Magazine
• Donation to Rotary International
• Discussion forums run by Banyule City Council
• Representation on the statewide Victorian SRC
• Endless barbecues for socialising and fundraising

The M.C.S.R.C. is a group of fantastic people, like any other students that works hard to raise student opinions and represent these concerns to the administration of Macleod College. We are dedicated to making this school the best place possible for our students.
