Debating

Students at Macleod College are encouraged to participate in the DAV Debating Competition, the largest of its kind. We field teams in year 9, 10, 11 and 12 and we debate at Loyola College in Watsonia.

The nature of this competition ensures that the students learn to think, prepare and deliver their speeches in a spirit of healthy rivalry and good sportsmanship.
